05 September 2012

After all the sightseeing at Château de Chambord we headed to the Loire valley village Blois where we were staying overnight.
Blois was occupied during World War II by the German army, and suffered several days of bombing, the church has been restored and the building below is the only medieval one that survived.
One could see that the town had been restored in a haste, it was a bit uneven and drab.
So excited about the prospect of proper food and not éclairs and orangina which I had for lunch.
